It's Football Time in Gate City!!

It was so exciting to see a football game live after only watching tapes that people would send me for two years! The kick is up and it is good!! I like how the mountains surround the city! I really missed these mountains when I was in very flat Botswana!
The marching band! I was in the band all through middle and high school!
My parents have had season tickets right here on the 45 yard line beside Lesa and Jim for as long as I can remember! I was very happy that I was able to sit with them!
The trademark Chaco shot! Me proving that I was there!
Gate City fans are very dedicated to their team!!

Friends!!

Becky, Mandy, and Stacie
What a blessing these two beautiful ladies have been to me! We met when Mandy and I were about 3. Now we are much older and Mandy is getting married!! What a blessing! I am so excited as she and Phil start a new adventure together!

Random acts of kindness!!

So if you have not flown recently you might not know that you have to put all of your liquid based products into a plastic bag. So mom and I were all ready with lip gloss, hand sanitizer, lotion, in two zip-lock bags. We wait through the very long line where there is a guy searching through everyone's stuff before it even gets to the x-ray machine. A lady about three people in front of us had not picked up a plastic bag, so the man started pulling out things that were liquid based telling her that she would have to go back get a bag and wait through the very long line again, or just let him throw the items away right there. We are talking about name brand lip stick, mascara, all kinds of stuff. So I was feeling really bad for the lady so I looked at mom and said why don't we put our stuff together in one bag, so we did and I handed her my bag and she mouthed to me "Thank you so much" and I said "No problem." Well I proceeded through the line and get questioned because I have nice photo equipment. So when I get back up with mom she tell me that the lady that we gave the bag to gave her, her business card and asked her to e-mail her and she would send her a thank you gift. So I stick the card in my pocket. A couple of days later I found the card, and remembered the lady. So I sent her an e-mail, not really expecting anything just following up. So after several e-mails back and forth of my mother's and my hair type. I received a package!! Wow what a blessing!! The lady works for REDKEN and sent mom and I 17 full sized bottles of products for our hair! My hair has never been so pampered in my whole life! Such an amazing blessing from sharing a plastic bag with a stranger in an airport! God is just so cool! You never know what might happen when you are nice to someone!
